I don't even know where to start with this review. I freaking loved it! This book did have me tearing up a few times.
Katia and Marcus are both so broken because of the lies and
betrayals.
Katia actually hits rock bottom, and it's not pretty at
all. She does something so unexpected,
it twisted my gut, that's for sure.
Thankfully, she didn't go through with it, but it's one of the things
that finally broke Marcus.
Finding out about Penny, was the other thing that helped to
break him completely. He knew he had to
divorce Katia. They are toxic the way
there are/were. It wasn't good for them
and it wasn't good for Penny. He had to
do it for her.
Like I said, this book isn't pretty. We have two completely broken
characters.
"Love isn't enough."
Will they be able to fix themselves, and be happy? This book shows their struggles. Sometimes love isn't enough and is
toxic. I didn't know how their story
would end. I can honestly say I'm very
happy with it. This is such a great
book!
