This is the story of one day in the life of three-year-old Annalise. The winsome illustrations follow her through her daily activities, adventures and misadventures on one summer day, as she explores the meaning of "up" and "down" in her world.
The soft cover, or paperback, is an 8"x10" book of vivid watercolors, with pages that are of sturdy paper, allowing the book to survive many curious little hands.
It is a cute and fast read. My 8 year old enjoyed it as much as I did. The illustrations are to the point and very colorful.
Annalise's Up and Down Day is in my own opinion for preschool
children and all kids of any age. If you
enjoy a short story with lots of fun, then this is for YOU!
Annalise’s UP and
Down day written by Denise Jenne is a cute book for your infant or toddler.
This book has simple sentences for new talkers and readers, along with colorful
illustrations to go with it. My one issue with the book is not staying in order
of the up and down. For me, I would have liked the consistency of up and down
to follow the whole book and not the change of order a few pages in to down and
up. As a former pre-school teacher with a touch of OCD, I look for things like
that where most people wouldn’t care. Other than that, it is a cute book to read
to your one or two year old.
About the Author:

She has taught Sociology and Criminal Justice at state and online universities for almost three decades, and she is a published author in the field. This is her first work of children’s fiction.
