I think this is a great start
to this series. I'm hooked and will be starting the next book right after I'm
done with this review.
I wasn't sure what to expect
with this read. I knew it was an MC book somehow. I wasn't sure if it would be
the normal type, with a happy ever after type story, or not. This is so far
from that type though. It's great.
Tori is being held by the FBI
for killing 11 members of the Dragons MC. Her story comes out slowly, and piece
by piece. It's not a pretty story. Yes, she has killed for them, but she wasn't
left a choice. They beat her. They raped her. They cut her. She had to do what
she did in order to survive.
This is her story. Starting
from right after she got her revenge on the MC. This is a unique story and not
the same old, same old. It's nice to read something different and unique. Can't
wait to dig into the rest of this series and Tori's life. I have so many
questions, but I'm sure they will be answered in the coming books.

This is the second book in the
New Life series. You do need to read the first book before this one. This is a
great read and a great continuation from the first book.
Tori is in the halfway house
that the FBI sent her to. She will be there 6 months, and after the 6 months,
they will reevaluate her case. And possibly emancipate her. They are still
saying she is 15, but she knows that she's in her early twenties. She has a job
working for an ex agent, in his guitar/music store.
Tori does have a few set
backs, that bring her back to her old life. Her adjusting isn't easy. She has a
few brushes with people from her past. She starts drinking again. But she does
make a lot of improvements with herself also. She makes friends, she keeps her
job, and she learns to manage her money.
She knows that she is being
used as a pawn for the FBI, but she doesn't know why or how exactly she is.
I will be starting book 3 in
just a bit! Can't wait to read more of Tori's journey.

This is the third book in the
New Life series. You must read the first two before this one. It is a
continuation of the previous book.
Tori ran into someone from her
past. That made her run. But Michael catches up to her, easily. What does he
want though? Is he after her because he knows what she's capable of, or what
she has done. Or is it because of what she was used for in the past? These
questions will be answered in this book, by him.
He made a promise, to his
brother Henry and then to Terry, that he would protect Tori. And he would take
care of her. He thinks she's dirty and that she enjoyed everything that she use
to do. Until she opens up to him. What happens when their feelings towards one
another change?
Tori is getting better, she is
starting a life now. She is repairing bikes, has a house that they fixed up.
And, even though she didn't want to, she has made friends in this new town.
When will things start to crash around her again though? She knows it is
coming, just doesn't know how or when.
This was an enjoyable read. I
did get a little bored with it in the middle. It just felt like it dragged on a
little. The end was great though.

This is the 4th book in the
New Life series. You do need to read the other 3 first. It is a continuation.
Tori and Michael are now
married, and happy. Well, as happy as Tori can be. They both know something is
coming though and they've been at their little house for too long. They are
packing and getting ready to hit the road for a bit. But Eli stops that from
happening. Will Tori ever be able to have a normal life. Without her past
coming back and biting her in the butt every time she starts to move forward.
Not only is it her past, but now the FBI won't let her be either.
Tori finds out more about her
early childhood, before she was taken and made into what she is. She has
another job to do...the Scorpions. She has to get back into that lifestyle. You
can tell it's really taking a toll on her though. I honestly don't know if Tori
will make it out of all of this.
Everybody, FBI and the bad
guys, want her to do dirty work for them. She basically takes 1 step forward
with her new life and then is forced to take 2 steps back. I know that She is
up to something too, but her plans haven't came out yet. I know she's planning
something though.
This was a very good read and
I enjoyed it. Will be continuing the series asap!

This is the fifth book in the
New Life series. You do need to read the previous books before you start on
this one. It is a continuation from the previous books.
Tori is finally connecting to
her brother. Things are going good with her husband, Michael. It really seems
like her life is starting to come back together. It does take her awhile to
open up to Brian. She just wants to keep him away to protect him from her
problems.
She will have some choices to
make in this book. Should she take the life back in Texas, with Michael, or
should she try out the life that she could have had if the Dragon's never would
have taken her and trained her.
Whatever she chooses, could
hurt someone that she loves.
This was a good read, didn't
have the action that the previous book did. I feel like it is the calm before
the big storm (next book) hits. Things are still in motion with the FBI and I'm
still wondering what exactly that is. I have my ideas, so we will see if I'm
right or not.

This is the sixth book in the
New Life series. You must read the previous 5 first, it is a continuation.
Tori is trying to be a band
member with her brother, Brian. Michael wants nothing more than to go back home
to Texas and to keep making their life there. Tori knows that something is coming
though, she just doesn't know exactly what and from who. Will it be the
Organization, or will it be the FBI? She is being pushed and pulled in every
direction. She is lost. She doesn't really know what she wants. She's not the
hardass that she was in all the other books. More emotions are coming out in
her, which is a good thing.
There are parts in this book
that I just wanted to slap Michael for saying something so absolutely stupid!
Tori does need to start telling people her feelings though.
This book is a great build up
for the final story. Can't wait to start on it.
#7 AVENGED

This is the seventh and final
book in the New Life Series. These books
have been a very bumpy ride for Tori, that's for sure.
Tori is finally finishing the
job that she was trained to do. It isn't
easy , and it's not pretty either. It is
a bloody mess.
This book is action packed and
a great finish for the series. Tori
finally knows what she wants and is able to have it. She is avenged in this ending..
